Wow. Much time has passed, and so much has changed since I last updated this blog. I plan to start sharing my stories again, soon. In the meantime, here's are the top ten highlights from the past two years:
- August 2011: My "city boy" husband finally said that he could "maybe" survive living in the country.
- July 2012: Madge was ridden for the first time.
- December 2012: WE MOVED TO THE COUNTRY!!!
- January 2013: We brought the girls home.
- May 2013: I rode Madge for the first time. (She was ridden five times at the trainers.)
- November 2013: Fell on my butt. More on that, later.
- December 2013: Took Madge to ride the trail obstacles at the Oregon Horse Center.
- April 2014: Brought home two donkeys, Amos and Andy, who were given to me by a friend, as well as a 2-year-old mule, Sophie, who I bought from another friend.
- June 2014: Questioned my decision to expand the herd from two to five within a two-week time period.
- October 2014: Took Madge to a trail clinic at the Oregon Horse Center, and had a freakin' blast!
Yes, I have a few stories to catch up on. In the meantime, here are some current pictures of the herd.
